Hello, my friend. How's your heart today? Lately, I've been in this weird place where decision-making seems to use up a lot of energy! I'm not sure if it's caused by the change of the season, a shift in my homones, or if it’s the result of having a few more extra things on my plate this week.
Regardless of what's going on internally, there’s one strategy I use that always brings me back to my center, grounds me and keeps me rooted to what's most important in my life. When I feel indecisive, or “in my feelings,” I always return home to my core values & beliefs.
Our core values and beliefs are the foundations on which we build our lives. They shape our thoughts, influence our feelings and manifest in our actions, choices and behavors. When we feel out of control, overwhelmed, excessively stressed or frustrated in life, this often indicates that we're making choices that are out of alignment with our core values & beliefs.
